Elementary Recess Guidelines
Outdoor recess:
- Weatherbug "feels like" outside air temperature 20o (F) or greater.
- Students must be dressed appropriately for the weather
Indoor recess:
- If a health advisory has been issued for outside (wind or freezing temps).
- Wet conditions on play area.
- Outside air temperature and/or with wind chill lower than 20o (F).
- Some form of physical activity is encouraged.
