Child Safety Matters (Erin's Law):

Gananda CSD utilizes the Monique Burr Foundation's Child Safety Matters curriculum to teach Erin's Law lessons that are required by New York State.  Erin's Law requires New York State public schools to provide child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention lessons to students in kindergarten through eighth grade.  The Child Safety Matters curriculum teaches this important information via the Five Safety Rules.  More information can be found on the following handouts, either for students in grades K-2nd or in grades 3rd-5th.
